My students love learning about other countries and cultures! I use these sheets with my middle school and high schoolers when we start a new unit on a certain area of the world. Students will research different countries and record data about them on these worksheets.

This easy to use printable research packet allows you to have less prep for your social studies, history, geography or related class with worksheets that can last the entire school year! It also works well for a substitute sub plans because it is easy prep and the students will be researching on their computers.

Prep:

All you need to do is choose a country your students will research, print it off and make sure the students have a research device and coloring utensils.

Each worksheet has two pages for each country with each of the following asked as a question:

• Color the country's flag

• The capital city

• Type of government

• Current population

• Currency and what it is equal to in your own country's currency

• Top 3 languages spoken

• List and describe 3 major locations

• Continent

• Major religion

• List and describe 3 food dishes

• Climate throughout the year

• Describe the geography

• List 3 famous people from there and what they are known for

• Includes a sketched outline map of the country with specific locations for students to label.

To do this activity, students will need:

• Pencil
