$4.00$2.75

Unlock the wonders of Alaska with this comprehensive research packet and project rubric, thoughtfully crafted for middle and high school students. Dive into a variety of engaging worksheets, and step-by-step project guides that make learning about the state of Alaska intriguing and effortless. Each page features clear layouts and visually appealing designs, ensuring students stay motivated throughout their research journey. Ideal for geography, history, or social studies projects, it empowers students to explore Alaskan culture, landmarks, wildlife, and more.

Alaska was purchased from Russia in 1867, expanded American territory and provided vast natural resources like gold and oil that fueled economic growth. During wars, its strategic location made it a key defense point between America and Asia. With its beautiful mountains, National Parks and wildlife, Alaska is a great place to live and visit.

With this activity, students will learn this and more about the state of Alaska, including its state symbols, state quarter, geography, government and more. They will answer 40 questions about the state, including coloring in the state flag and labeling a provided map of the state. These questions span a total of five pages.

Then, students will use what they learned in their research to create a poster about the state. There is a provided rubric that you may pass out to students for this poster, which outlines what to include and how to make the poster. (This make the student packet a total of six pages).

This product also includes answers to every question in the student packet, teacher tips, instructional and prep directions and materials list.

By the end of this project, students will have a good knowledge about the history, culture and geography of the state of Alaska.
