Make a Scale Model of Noah's Ark
For Upper Middle and High School Students
$5.00$3.00
Embark on a captivating journey through history with our Noah's Ark Scale Model Activity! Ideal for middle and high school students, this educational packet allows you to construct a detailed, scale model replica of Noah's Ark. Complete with comprehensive templates and instructions, this project promotes learning and creativity.
The Genesis Flood was one of the most catastrophic events on the planet and it was hugely significant in the life of Noah in the Old Testament. Noah and his family survived because God called him to build an ark structure to hold his family and many living creatures. Students can learn about this Noah's ark by creating a scale model of it.
To do this activity, students will receive a packet (provided in product). They will read about the ark and they will look up specific Biblical references that talk about the construction of the ark (in Genesis 6). They will answer questions and they will cut out the provided ark template pieces, color them and tape them together.
By the end of the activity, students will make the ark structure, the three decks: upper middle and lower, the roof with an opening and the door on the side of the ark. (All as described in Genesis 6:15-16)
This project is specific and detailed, which is why it is recommended that upper middle school or high school age do this activity. (Some high-level 7th graders could do this as well).

"I learned my kiddos need way more guidance with cutting and gluing than anything else. But we had a GREAT time with this!!" Isabella A.
"First of all, I want to say that I did try this with a younger grade than was encouraged. However, I did find the questions engaging and fit well with the building instructions." Amy P.
