$4.00$2.75
Unlock the wonders of the Granite State with our New Hampshire Research Packet and Project Rubric! This resource includes research sheets and a comprehensive project rubric to spark curiosity and drive student success. Perfect for middle and high school social studies, the packet features map exercises, colorful state symbol explorations, detailed research guidelines, and bonus fact sheets—everything needed for a complete learning experience.
New Hampshire was the first colony to establish its own government independent of British rule in 1775. It also became the ninth state to ratify the U.S. Constitution, making it officially go into effect. With its beautiful mountains and lakes, New Hampshire is a great place to live and visit.
With this activity, students will learn this and more about the state of New Hampshire, including its state symbols, state quarter, geography, government and more. They will answer 40 questions about the state, including coloring in the state flag and labeling a provided map of the state. These questions span a total of five pages.
Then, students will use what they learned in their research to create a poster about the state. There is a provided rubric that you may pass out to students for this poster, which outlines what to include and how to make the poster. (This make the student packet a total of six pages).
This product also includes answers to every question in the student packet, teacher tips, instructional and prep directions and materials list.
By the end of this project, students will have a good knowledge about the history, culture and geography of the state of New Hampshire.
