For Middle and High School

$4.00$2.50

Ignite curiosity and engagement with our Provinces of Canada Research Project—an interactive printable resource designed exclusively for middle and high school students. This project encourages students to dive into the diverse provinces and territories of Canada by selecting one to research, gathering essential facts, and presenting their discoveries on a vibrant, informative poster. Not only does this activity promote in-depth research and critical thinking, but it also hones presentation and creative skills. Perfect for geography lessons, social studies units, or cross-curricular projects, this resource brings Canadian culture and history to life!

This project encourages students to learn about a specific province or territory located in Canada. They will work in groups (or individually) to research their province and then they will make a mini poster explaining what they learned.

You can use this in a Canadian History classroom or to supplement a Canada geography unit. However, this product is designed to also be used in a Social Studies geography or history unit about Canada or North America.

These are some topics that the students will learn about their province:

  • Location

  • Population

  • Climate

  • Geographic Features

  • History of Province or Territory

  • Government

  • Economy

  • Culture (food, pastimes, etc.)
