Craft your very own historical masterpiece with this designed Scale Model of the Ark of the Covenant. This activity comes with all the necessary printable outlines and step-by-step instructions to construct a detailed replica of the legendary artifact. Perfect for educational projects, historical enthusiasts, and homeschooling alike.

One of the most recognizable artifacts from the Old Testament was the Ark of the Covenant. Although we don't know exactly what happened to the ark, we do have the specific instructions that God gave to Moses on how to construct it.

This activity gives students the opportunity to read through God's instructions in Exodus 25, then they will answer 11 questions about the passage and follow the directions written in their packets (and the Bible) on how to construct their arks.

In the end, students will have a scale model of the ark of the covenant (1 inch=1 cubit) along with the tablets of the covenant law inside the ark.

"I put my sophomores in teams of three for this activity. It was great for group work and most could do it within an hour timeframe. I know they enjoyed doing something different in class. I didn't see the Solomon's temple one but I may purchase that one too for next year. I really think it helped too for my students to understand the difference between Noah's ARK and the ARK of the Covenant. They were able to describe it well on the test." Karen B.
