Uncover the power of 'The Armor of God: Examples in the Faith'. Dive deep into the profound teachings of the Armor of God and explore how biblical figures illustrated each piece in their lives. This comprehensive educational resource offers in-depth lessons and stunning illustrations.
The armor of God is an iconic New Testament metaphor for what we, as Christians, should be arming ourselves with to fight against the evil powers of this world. It can be difficult to understand what it means to put on these pieces of armor; but, one way is to look at examples in the faith who used these pieces of armor so we can strive to do the same.
In this activity, students will read scripture passages about various people in the Bible such as Queen Esther, Noah, Jesus, Paul, etc. and they will learn how they used the armor of God. For example, Noah was known for his righteousness during his time, so he used the breastplate of righteousness. As they go, they will write down the examples on an armor of God diagram.
