For Middle and High School

$3.00$2.50

Embark on an exhilarating journey with our 'Glacier Bay National Park: Whale Tracking Experience.' Dive deep into the majestic world of humpback whales and closely follow their awe-inspiring migration patterns throughout the year.

Glacier Bay National Park is a humpback whale sanctuary, which protects the whales from boating and poachers. This makes this an amazing place to observe these whales in their natural habitat.

This activity encourages students to learn about plotting points on a map using latitude and longitude and they will be able to track the migration patterns of four different humpback whales from Glacier Bay to Hawaii and Mexico. Then, they will analyze the data and answer questions based on what they learned.

This resource would be good in a science, social studies or geography class.
