$3.50$3.00
Engage your students with this comprehensive USA Research Packet and Project Rubric, designed for middle and high school classrooms. This resource includes research assignments, answer keys, maps, and assessment rubrics to support in-depth study of the United States. Perfect for social studies projects, it encourages critical thinking and independent research skills. Easy to use and customizable for various classroom needs.
US history spans from indigenous populations and European colonization to a nation formed by 13 colonies declaring independence in 1776. Following a revolution against British rule, the US expanded westward, survived a Civil War over slavery, industrialized, and emerged as a global superpower.
With this activity, students will learn this and more about the country of the USA including its country history, currency, symbols, geography, government and more. They will answer 30 questions about the country, including coloring the flag and labeling a provided map of the country. These questions span a total of five pages.
Then, students will use what they learned in their research to create a poster about the country. There is a provided rubric that you may pass out to students for this poster, which outlines what to include and how to make the poster. (This make the student packet a total of six pages).
This product also includes answers to every question in the student packet, teacher tips, instructional and prep directions and materials list.
By the end of this project, students will have a good knowledge about the history, culture and geography of the country of the USA.
