Jesus is the most influential person to ever live. We can read about him and God, the father in every book in the Old Testament. In this activity, students will read the provided passages in each book of the Old Testament and answer questions related to Jesus in those passages.
For example, one question reads Isaiah 11:1-12 says "a ___________ will come from the _________ of Jesse" (King David's father).
Students will read Isaiah 11:1-12 and they will find that the answer would be "Branch" and "Stump." This reflects that Jesus is the branch. This metaphor is seen in other books in the Old and New Testament.
The activity goes through each book of the Old Testament with questions from each book that relates to the character and prophecies of Jesus.
Then, each student will be given one of the books of the Old Testament and they will create a mini poster about what they learned about Jesus in that book. They will follow the provided rubric to make their poster.
